Meet The Team

Kyrie Severson, APRN, AQH

Kyrie is co-founder and a provider at Transcend Headache Clinic. She is a Nurse Practitioner with advanced certification in headache management and a passion for treating each individual with a unique treatment plan. Through evidence based research and practice experience, she is committed to making each patient feel heard, understood and cared for.

She has worked in healthcare for over 20 years, starting as a CNA and working towards a degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Prior to starting Transcend headache, she worked for a larger healthcare facility in a general neurology practice. It became evident, fairly early in her practice, that headaches and migraines have a significant impact on patients and families and that each treatment plan is unique to the individual. Healthcare is not just about providing prescriptions. It is about caring for each patient as a unique individual and finding potential underlying causes or contributing factors to symptoms.

Kyrie is born and raised in rural North Dakota. Being raised in a small town community has shaped her strive to develop meaningful connections. Through her strong commitment to community she is able to make a connection with patients that goes beyond the conventional healthcare relationship.

She is 1 of 2 headache specialists in North Dakota. Through understanding the importance of a collaborative approach to headache management as well as use of evidence based practice guidelines, Kyrie is committed to helping you go beyond feeling controlled by your headache and migraines. Tiffany Eslinger, APRN

Tiffany is co-founder and a provider at Transcend Headache Clinic. She is a Nurse Practitioner, with specialized training in concussion management. Her approach to each patient is providing individualized treatment plans, that are based on evidence based practice and backed by practice experience. This approach facilitates a relationship with patients that goes beyond the conventional healthcare model.

She has worked in various areas of healthcare throughout the last 20 years, including CNA, emergency medicine and most recently as a Nurse practitioner in a general neurology practice. Through her experience, and passion for patient care, she has developed a care model that centers around the patient as a whole. She understands the complexity of headaches and the necessity to break away from the “one size fits all” plan of care.

Tiffany grew up in small town North Dakota, and values family, friends and community. With her strong ND values, she uses these as a framework for making her patients feel heard, feel valued, and feel cared for. She emphasizes the importance of listening to each individual patient and having them be an active part of their treatment plan.

With opening North Dakota’s first headache clinic, Tiffany is committed to each patient in providing a collaborative treatment plan that will help each patient go beyond the barriers your headaches have caused, and take over control of your treatment.

Emily Haen

I’m Emily Haen, the Clinical Nurse Manager at Transcend Headache Clinic located in the heart of West Fargo. Born and raised in North Dakota, I have always felt a strong connection to my community. After graduating from the University of North Dakota in 2011, I moved to Fargo and began my nursing career.

For the past thirteen years, I’ve been privileged to serve as a registered nurse, specializing in labor and delivery. This role has not only honed my clinical skills but has also deepened my passion for women’s health. Every day, I witness the transformative power of compassionate care, and I am dedicated to advocating for the well-being of patients and their families.

Now, as I embark on this exciting new chapter with Transcend Headache Clinic, I am thrilled to bring my expertise to the forefront of headache management. Here, I see the opportunity to merge my passion for healthcare with a commitment to innovative solutions for those battling with headaches. Together with our team, I am driven to provide personalized care and support to each patient, empowering them to transcend the limitations of chronic headaches and reclaim their lives.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find me spending time with my three beautiful daughters and our black lab Bohdi. We love time with our family and friends and making the most of each day.
